The Sigma Pi Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on Friday, October 24, 1998 on the campus of American University in Washington, DC. The chapter adheres to the sorority principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and the Ideal of Finer Womanhood. We are a community conscience, action oriented organization that continues to strive for excellence through educational and volunteer events, academics and sisterhood. Our chapters members are strong and intelligent women who come from diverse backgrounds.

The Sigma Pi Chapter is currently located at the following universities in Washington, DC: American University, Georgetown University and Trinity University.
